It’s our pleasure to welcome you to the National Food and Nutrition Commission’s Website. The National Food and Nutrition Commission, also referred to as the Commission, is a government parastatal set up in 1967 as an advisory body to the Zambian government on all matters relating to food and nutrition.
As a research and advisory body, we run various projects and programmes, some of which we implement directly or in partnership with other government ministries, international organizations, learning institutions, civil societies, NGOs, the private sector, faith-based organizations, community-based organizations, the media and many more who have nutrition at the centre of their heart, or can influence policies that support and nurture nutrition.
